Forms of organization and span of control
Decentralization and Delegation of Authority
UNIT – IV:
Motivation: Concept, Importance, Motivation theories – Maslow’s Need Hierarchy, Herzberg’s Two Factor Theory, Vroom’s Expectancy Theory
Leadership: Concept, Importance
Major theories of Leadership: Likert’s scale theory, Managerial Grid Theory, Path Goal Theory, Fiedler’s Situational Theory
