About Course

Description General English is an Ability Enhancement Course in Commerce (AECC-1) offered in the first year, second semester of the B.Com/B.Com (H) program (as per NEP 2020). The course strengthens core English skills required in academic and professional contexts: grammar, sentence patterns, spoken English basics, phonetics, vocabulary development, and practical writing. It carries 2 credits at NHEQF Level 4.5 and is delivered through 30 lectures that combine content delivery, diagnostic assessment, and problem solving.
